Marcelino Bernardone brings a diverse and hard-working background to First Florida Agency. Raised in a large family of nine children, he learned early the value of communication, collaboration, and responsibility, principles that continue to shape his approach to both personal life and professional service.
Before joining the insurance industry, Marcelino gained firsthand experience working in his family’s construction business and their locally beloved Italian restaurant. These roles sharpened his work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to connect with people from all walks of life. His customer-first mindset, developed over years in service-driven industries, has become a cornerstone of his success as an insurance professional.
Today, Marcelino is passionate about helping both individuals and businesses protect what matters most. As a licensed insurance advisor and broker, he has access to a broad range of carriers, allowing him to tailor coverage solutions across home, auto, flood, and business insurance. Marcelino currently lives in St. Augustine, FL with his wife Lizbeth and their baby girl. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family, staying active outdoors, and playing sports, especially soccer and football. Above all, Marcelino is guided by his strong Catholic faith, which influences both his personal values and professional integrity.
